For New Clients

Welcome! Here’s my step-by-step guide for new clients.

Step One: Make sure we are a good match!

Please take a moment to see my FAQ, Policies, and Sanitation & Masking pages to make sure my office environment and expectations are a good fit for what you’re looking for!

Answers to the most common FAQs by new clients:

  • Prepayment via credit card is required.

  • Masking is required at my office.

  • Same-day availability is not offered for new clients and your first appointment must be scheduled in advance.

Step Two: Contact me for scheduling.

Contact me! Let’s talk and get started.
Please email me at SingletonMassage@gmail.com and give me an idea of what you’re looking for and let me know about any questions you have.

Sometimes I may have to place new clients on a waitlist if I just don’t have enough room in my schedule at that moment for new clients. I tend to be fully booked a few weeks in advance but sometimes there are cancellations and other exceptions to the rule. My schedule varies throughout the year so it never hurts to ask!

Here's a link for emailing me with a form letter if that’s helpful.

Step 3: schedule an Intake call.

I do new clients intakes over Zoom calls. This has been such a helpful change to my on-boarding process for new clients! I’ve had great feedback about this from clients and no one seems to feel nervous or unsure at their first in-person appointment.

After we’re done with the necessary questions (like medical history, what your current symptoms and goals for me are, etc.) then you can feel free to end the call if you don’t have any questions for me. I set aside 30 minutes for these calls but you don’t need to use all of those minutes if you don’t want to. I often end the call with suggestions for how to prepare for your hands-on session, like stretching suggestions or I may ask you to look up a topic that would be helpful for you to know about (like a muscle we will be working on) or to contact your doctor with a question beforehand.

Step 4: time for your in-person appointment!

It’s time!
By this time, you’ll know what to expect and will feel confident about the goals we set during your Zoom call.

You’ll have directions, links to printable forms, and all other necessary information in your confirmation and reminder emails. You also can see my location page if you have any trouble finding me.

Payment will already be taken care of since when you scheduled this appointment you will have either prepaid or have placed a deposit with a credit card on file. (Tipping is not expected or accepted.)

Show up with comfy clothes and your signed intake form and we’ll be ready to begin!
